THE STORY OF DRAGONFLY BAKERY

After I had to give up gluten and dairy myself in 2006, I turned to the stores hoping to find quality alternatives to my precious “breads and treats”.  Sadly, all I found was tasteless and uninspiring substitutes that never seemed to hit the spot.   In desperation, I was driven to put my passion for baking and hunger for feeding my glutenous and sweet tooth into experimenting and modifying recipes.  Playing with countless new ingredients until I struck the perfect balance. 

Dragonfly bakery and its products are the culmination of that journey.  Breads and treats so good that you don’t even know you are eating something gluten and dairy free.  Goods, where taste and texture have not been sacrificed in the process of making “cheap substitutes” but rather have themselves become a furthering of the art of baking.
